Have
a Spaghetti Dinner
Yum.... Having a spaghetti
dinner as a fundraiser for your church can be both successful and a
lot of fun for the church family to participate in. Make plenty of large
easy to read signs so that neighbors come to enjoy your dinner too.
Set up: Have plenty of
table space and leg room for everyone. Make sure the tables are set
and ready to go with place settings. Have butter at different ends
of the table at room temperature. Ask your congregation to bring in
large baskets a couple of weeks before. You can use these for the table
center pieces. Place a napkin in the basket and fill the basket with
rolls, bread sticks, and loaves of bread of all different sizes. For the
easiest and most looking clean table, use plain white paper table clothes.
In between sittings you can just throw it away and quickly replace it with
another one. Have a pianist entertain everyone with music, or have Italian
or worship music playing the background on a CD.
The meal: Have plenty
of HOMEMADE spaghetti sauce.
