Biography:

Jamie Harris, 17, is a senior in High School and is highly involved in singing, dancing, acting, and musical theatre inside and outside of her school. She has taken 13 years of dance lessons and competed in dance for four years while winning awards such as Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Highest Point in both solo and group. She participates in the Chorus, Chorale, Women’s ensemble, and Chamber choir at her school while performing in the annual musical. Outside of school she attends weekly dance lessons, and performs in as many local musicals as her time allows. Jamie has a happy, up-beat personality, and always has a smile on her face.

Entertainment Goals:

Jamie wishes to perform to the best of her abilities and entertain as many people as possible while being a positive role model for children and teenagers. In the future, she would love to perform in Disney World, on Broadway, and even in the film business.

- 2005 - Performed with Disney World Cast in the Candle Light Precession, Orlando, FL

- Teen Talent Winner and Earth Winner 2007-Miss Hemisphere Regional Competition Philadelphia, PA

- 2007-2008 Reining "Miss Movie Star" winner- Miss Hemisphere National Pageant Atlantic City, NJ

- Official Participant who auditioned for Season 7 of American Idol 2007 Philadelphia, PA

Personal Interests:

Jamie loves to sing, act, and dance. Musical Theatre, entertaining, and performing are her passions. She also enjoys teaching children how to sew, and she designs and makes her own clothes. When she's not performing you can find her making costumes for local theatre companies, and volunteering her time working with children in theatre and dance.
