Christian Valentine's Day Crafts for Sunday School

How to Make a "God is Love" Heart Flower Valentine Craft - ages 4 years through 5th grade

God is Love heart flower Valentine craft for Sunday School activity

Your Sunday School Kids will LOVE this Valentine Felt Flower "God is Love" Wreath! Add this craft to a lesson on Love or around Valentine's Day. All you need is scraps of pink and red felt, paper plate, ribbon, tape, marker, and glue.

	With a marker draw a large circle 2" from out rim of a paper plate. Cut out the rim.
	Tape the circle back together. This will be the base of the heart flower. Tie a ribbon as shown in the photo. This will be the stem. This one is 9".
	Make a 4"X4" heart pattern by folding a piece of paper in half and drawing a 1/2 of a heart. Keeping the paper in half, cut out, and you have a heart shaped pattern.
	Using your pattern cut out five red hearts and six pink hearts.

Glue five red and five pink hearts on the flower base the way you want them.

On the last pink heart which will be the leaf on the ribbon stem, have your students write with a marker on one side, "God is Love" and on the other side their name. Glue the pink heart leaf on the stem.
