Outreach Ideas for the Church

     Sometimes we get caught up on trying to reach those outside the church that we forget about our own church families. Perhaps there is a family in need of one of the Thanksgiving baskets that have been prepared and ready to go out to the neighborhood. See if a church family needs that uplift during the holidays. A baby sitter might do a young couple some good to have a well needed night out alone for a quiet dinner.  Another way to help is having a scholarship fund for those ready to head off to college.  If someone has lost a loved one, or went through a recent bitter divorce, it might be a good idea to send some Valentine's to them during that holiday.
